In honor of my friend and Makeout Creek contributor, Tarfia Faizullah, who, in fact, was RECENTLY GIVEN A FULBRIGHT (TODAY) to study in Bangladesh next year! And in honor of spring, because if I had my record player, Graceland would be playing non-stop for the next month. Congratulations Tarfia! Congratulations sunshine!
And while we're at it...
as inspiration for the VCUQ students (and my freshmen in particular), who are taking their finals next week, then moving on up in the world. They know what they know! Let's hope it's a little bit more than they did at the beginning of the year... (They made that poster and hung it at school; isn't it great?)
I LOVE THE POSTER, THEY ARE AS CREATIVE AS THEY ARE SMART!
